back from Barcelona

Alice had a great time in Barcelona--I just read that Spain has a 20% unemployment rate, so I wasn't sure if there would be homeless people and beggars in the streets or what she would see. We could almost hear the plants growing last night. It rained on Sunday, then it got hot. That little tomato is the size of a nice olive now! We have: cilantro, German thyme, lemon thyme, rosemary, the arugula, three kinds of tomato seedlings, and two pepper plants that we got free from the bank down the street! I don't know why they give away pepper plants every April, but it's fun to get something free. I have nice flowers, too.
